Oasis Caring in Action is looking for Volunteers to help with our Oasis ‘Good Morning’ Telephone Service, based in the Oasis Centre, Belfast.
Oasis ‘Good Morning’ is a telephone befriending service designed to support older and vulnerable people who live in South and East Belfast.
Operating Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 12:00 noon, it offers a free, confidential, daily telephone service to help older and vulnerable people stay connected to their community, as well as checking on their wellbeing and offering signposting for advice.
We are looking for people who have great communication skills and a friendly personality, and we will provide all necessary training. Can you give a couple of hours a week?
By volunteering for Oasis, you’ll be part of a great team, learn new skills, meet new people and make new friends!
